Photo 11 Jan 2:30 pm GMT, we FINALLY arrive in Banjul, Gambia after two days of solid traveling and no sleep at all that night.  We were met at the airport by Mike, Bakary, Yankuba, and a driver who helped us with our bags (I made sure to travel lightly but the girls had four large checked suitcases and about six or seven carry-ons… and guess who helped them carry it all between Boston and Banjul.) We went home to the compound where we had our first African meal: Benechin. mmmmmm
